Famous for its hot springs, Heviz has a number of world class hotels.
Built up from the 18th century, when taking the waters first became popular, Heviz's popularity has grown.
Today the radioactive take which is approximately 2 square miles in size is recently re-furbished and houses a restaraunt and walkways which span the southside of the lake.
From young to old the baths are popular amongst those who wish to sample it's medicinal properties welling up from deep beneath, dragging minerals, heavy metals, and a unique smelly mud with it.
In town there is a sausage market. Airport connections (BalatonFLy aiport), many shops, bars and resteraunts, pretty much all the western visitor could ask for.
